Attorney Professional Development and Recruiting Coordinator
This role supports the full cycle of attorney recruiting and professional development. You’ll coordinate key hiring activities, assist with onboarding, and manage attorney training and evaluation programs. The position also provides opportunities to contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and firmwide professional development efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with recruiting leadership to implement hiring strategies and maintain candidate records
- Schedule interviews, manage due diligence checks, and support attorney onboarding
- Organize orientation programs and provide ongoing support to new hires
- Assist with planning and execution of summer associate and clerkship programs
- Track attorney statistics and maintain relevant data for recruiting and development purposes
- Manage continuing legal education (CLE/MCLE) requirements and compliance
- Support attorney review and evaluation processes, including data collection and meeting coordination
- Contribute to attorney development initiatives, mentoring programs, and DE&I activities
- Coordinate professional development programming, trainings, and events
- Maintain accurate attorney records and respond to roster requests
What You’ll Need
- At least 2 years of experience in attorney recruiting, professional development, or professional services
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of MCLE requirements and experience with CLE management tools is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and video conferencing platforms
- Attention to detail and follow-up skills in a fast-paced environment
- Initiative, adaptability, and comfort working with multiple departments
