Human Resources Coordinator

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle from start to finish. This includes recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, and maintaining compliance. The role is fast-paced and well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.

What You’ll Do

• Post job openings, review resumes, and coordinate interviews
• Conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, and assist with candidate communications
• Complete reference checks and background verifications
• Organize onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and I-9 processing
• Support offboarding activities such as exit interviews and termination documentation
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment support
• Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit questions and HR policies
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal HR processes
• Collaborate with Accounting to process payroll and review timecards
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files
• Support HR policies, procedures, audits, and ad hoc projects

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• 2–5 years of HR administrative experience; at least 1 year of recruiting experience preferred
• Knowledge of HR principles, employment law compliance, and HR best practices
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., BambooHR, ADP)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
• High level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
