What You'll Do:
- Research and analyze case law, statutes, and legal codes to support attorneys
- Draft and organize legal documents, motions, and discovery responses
- Ensure case deadlines, court filings, and discovery requests are met
- Manage electronically stored information (ESI) and utilize eDiscovery software
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and opposing counsel throughout litigation
- Prepare for and attend depositions and trials, summarizing transcripts as needed
- Maintain accurate billing records and track case progress
What You'll Need:
- 4-6 years of litigation paralegal experience (law firm experience required)
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court rules, and filing deadlines
- Experience with legal research, discovery, and trial preparation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (NetDocs, ProLaw, and Disco a plus)
- Familiarity with e-filing in Bay Area state and federal courts
- Excellent communication and organization skills to manage multiple cases
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive under deadlines
