Job Summary

As a Litigation Secretary, you will support attorneys in an administrative capacity, performing clerical duties that are essential to running a law firm. Your responsibilities may include filing with the state and federal courts, generating TOC/TOA’s, calendaring, managing electronic and hard copy files, and other miscellaneous tasks. 

 

As you may often be the first team member to interact with future clients, you should strive to make a positive first impression. You must display excellent communication, critical thinking, organization, spelling, grammar, and computer skills.

 

We are looking for a Litigation Secretary who is eager to collaborate with a diverse team of legal professionals, and who prides themselves in providing top-notch client service. Our ideal applicant is steady under pressure, and capable of prioritizing when faced with the rigorous and fast-paced demands of litigation.

 

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

  • 3+ years of administrative experience

Licensure and Certifications 

  • Current Notary Public Certificate preferred
